School Council

Welcome to the hub of student leadership at Step-by-Step High School: our Student Councils. Led by students and supported by dedicated staff members, our councils play a pivotal role in shaping our school community.

Aligned with the vision of our principal and in collaboration with Parent Councils, our Student Councils work together towards common goals and outcomes, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.

But what exactly do our Student Councils do? They’re not just about meetings and agendas — they’re about empowering students to lead, plan, and execute meaningful initiatives and service projects.

From organizing events that unite our school community to advocating for student interests and concerns, our councils serve as the voice of the student body.

And here’s the best part: anyone with a passion for leadership, organization, or simply making a difference in our school is welcome to join. Whether you’re a natural-born leader or looking to develop new skills, there’s a place for you on our councils.

In the Primary School, meetings take place weekly, while in the Secondary School, they occur bi- weekly. But it’s not just about attendance—it’s about active participation. Students are actively involved in monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing our councils, presenting their insights directly to our Leadership Team.
